Ben Holladay Bourbon operates on the site of Holladay's original distillery, which opened in Weston, Missouri, in 1856. According to a 2019 state law, a “Missouri bourbon” must meet the federal bourbon standards, and be made with corn grown in Missouri, and be mashed, fermented, distilled, aged, and bottled in the state.
