This is my first TSR tequila pick and now I need to try them all. This has a big floral nose, a slight rye spice on the tongue and was so easy going down I had to check myself. Great value considering it dusts similarly priced celebrity brands and fake indie tequilas.
Nose is light and floral after resting five minutes in a glencairn, with some subtle bourbon notes on the end. Palate and mouthfeel is surprisingly soft and very very delicate for a barrel aged anejo. Quickly follows with a perfectly blended and beautiful kick to the tongue of cooked agave and a dash of the complex velvety bourbon and long spicy finish that we all know and love. This soft mouthfeel is perfect for bourbon drinkers that want to dip their toes into the agave game. The price point is a steal. 11/10
