Jacob's Well was the inaugural release from Hardin's Creek, Jim Beam's limited-edition series which features unique mash bills and different themes relating to the brand's history. Its name pays tribute to Johannes "Jacob" Beam, who founded the company in 1795, and the well where he drew water to grow corn and distill whiskey. According to the brand, it features vanilla and caramel notes on the nose and a fruity yet oak-forward palate.
