Laphroaig 38 Year Old The Archive Collection is the second release in this limited series, distilled in 1985. It underwent a complex maturation in American ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finish in second-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads, and a final maturation in an Oloroso sherry-seasoned European oak butt. Bottled at 41.3% ABV, only 400 hand-blown bottles of this rare single malt were released worldwide.
