Lievland Vineyards, located in the "Golden Triangle" of Stellenbosch, South Africa, is a historic estate revitalized by a commitment to site-specific winemaking. This Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes 16 months of maturation in French oak, producing a wine with fine-grained tannins and a polished structure. It leads with classic varietal aromas of cassis, dark berries, and a subtle hint of pencil shavings. The wine’s development was influenced by the collaborative talent at the estate, including trailblazing black female winemaker Mahalia Kotjane, who worked there prior to launching her own brand, Three Quarters Wines.
