Phil D It has a lot of corn in the mash bill so it drinks more like a bourbon than a traditional rye. It's a well-balanced combination of sweet and savory. I've tried a lot of rossville single barrels, and this one tops them all.

Connie Rawlings I think people don't give MGP ryes enough time. Yes, they make great bourbons but their ryes are just as good. I would put this up against anything from Whistle Pig or any of the big distillers. This bottle has rye spices, with hard fruits and anise. I know I'm supposed to only drink this neat but let me tell you, it makes an insanely great Sazerac. Sorry, not sorry.
