The Last Drop 55 Year Old Tomintoul 1968 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Last Drop Distillers is an independent curator of ultra-rare spirits, founded in 2008 by industry icons Tom Jago and James Espey to unearth forgotten, world-class casks from the back of the world’s most storied warehouses. Release No. 36 is a monumental 55-year-old Speyside malt sourced from the Tomintoul Distillery. Distilled in 1968, the whisky spent over five decades in six oak casks before a final 20-month finish in a single Amoroso Sherry butt. This secondary maturation adds layers of fruitcake and dried plum to Tomintoul’s elegant, floral character.
