The eleventh release in WhistlePig’s celebrated single barrel series travels to India for inspiration. This straight rye was aged in new American oak and finished in thandai barrels. Thandai is a sweet milk-based drink popular in South Asia, and the final whiskey carries spices such as clove and saffron on the nose and palate, alongside traditional rye flavors, such as baking spices and pepper.
