OJ Lima Elected To American Craft Spirits Association Board Of Directors

OJ Lima, co-founder and President of TSR, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Craft Spirits Association (ACSA). His appointment brings significant expertise in technology, logistics, e-commerce and direct-to-consumer strategies to the national trade organization. In a press release from ACSA, it was announced that Orlando Lima was newly elected to the ACSA Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 term.

"I feel fortunate to be elected by my peers to address challenges of technology, and policy in the spirits industry," said Lima. "It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly and it's an honor to work with the outstanding people and companies that make up America’s craft spirits community.”

The American Craft Spirits Association

Founded in 2013, the American Craft Spirits Association (ACSA) serves as the only nationally registered non-profit trade organization specifically representing the U.S. craft spirits industry. Its mission is to elevate and advocate for the community of craft spirits producers. Among its notable achievements, ACSA hosts an annual convention and expo, which gathers distillers and suppliers for education and networking, and conducts the highly regarded American Craft Spirits Competition, recognizing excellence across various spirits categories. The organization also actively lobbies state and federal government to champion the interests of craft distillers.

ACSA Committee Work

Lima will serve on two key committees for ACSA. The Government Compliance Committee focuses on advocating for policy changes and updates to laws related to the three-tier system of alcohol distribution in the United States. This system requires alcohol to pass from producers to wholesale distributors, and then to licensed retailers before reaching consumers. Additionally, he will join the Market Access Committee, which develops strategies aimed at expanding the reach of craft distillers into new markets and distribution channels.
