Everything You Need to Know About the East 8 Hold-Up
Bright, tropical and bittersweet, the East 8 Hold-Up combines vodka, Aperol, pineapple juice, fresh lime juice, simple syrup and passion fruit syrup for a cocktail that lands somewhere between a tropical drink and a modern aperitivo. Bartender Kevin Armstrong created the drink at London's influential Milk & Honey cocktail bar in 2010, naming it after an infamous late-night incident involving a friend in London's E8 postcode. More than 15 years later, the East 8 Hold-Up has emerged as a modern classic, with its combination of fruit, citrus and bitter Aperol finding a new generation of fans.
