Hardin's Creek Low Distillation Profile 8 Year Old Bourbon

The Hardin's Creek Distillation Profile Series explores how variations in distillation proof influence the character of bourbon. Produced at the James B. Beam Distilling Co.'s Clermont campus in Kentucky, this limited-release 8-year-old straight bourbon was distilled at 105 proof, the lowest of the three expressions in the series. Lower-proof distillation retains more grain-derived compounds from fermentation, producing a heavier distillate and highlighting how decisions made before barrel aging can shape the character of a mature bourbon.
