Hardin's Creek High Distillation Profile 8 Year Old Bourbon

The Hardin's Creek Distillation Profile Series explores how variations in distillation proof influence the character of the final bourbon. Produced at the James B. Beam Distilling Co.'s Clermont campus in Kentucky, this limited-release 8-year-old straight bourbon was distilled at 120 proof, the highest of the three expressions in the series. Distilling at a higher proof removes more of the heavier grain-derived compounds before barrel aging, demonstrating how the distillation process can influence the finished whiskey.
