This is Heaven Hill's take on a Kentucky-style rye blended from barrels that are four+ years old. It has an aroma of dark chocolate with spices, and a hint of smoke. On the palate it delivers baking spices and honey, backed by a soft oak influence. For a 94-proof whiskey, it has a surprisingly long finish.
