The Macallan Harmony Collection 'Jing' Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This limited-edition release from Macallan is the fifth chapter in The Harmony Collection, an annual series that explores the fusion of whisky-making with diverse sensory worlds. Created in collaboration with luxury tea purveyor JING Tea, this expression is inspired by the rare Phoenix Honey Orchid oolong tea from China’s Phoenix Mountain range. The liquid is crafted through a specific marriage of predominantly sherry-seasoned American oak casks, supplemented by European oak and a subtle inclusion of ex-bourbon barrels. In keeping with the collection’s focus on sustainability, the presentation box and labels are crafted using repurposed waste tea leaves.
