People always look past Knob Creek, but they're making a mistake with this one. This age and proof brings out the best in the brand. It's a lot richer than the 9-year. I"m always happy to pour this, and it makes a great gift that says, I actually drink bourbon.

This is the only 12-year bourbon under $100, and it's better than the rest. Brown sugar for days. A bit of spice but it's not overpowering. Smells great. Tastes better.

Always enjoyed the 9 year but wanted to see what the older expressions were like. Wish I'd done it sooner. This is my new favorite with a more complex finish than the 9-year and a giant nose. Honestly, besides Knob Creek 9, I'm not usually a fan of Jim Beam product but this more than delivers.
