Middle West Spirits Double Cask Collection Vino De Naranja Cask-Finished Whiskey

Founded in 2008, Middle West Spirits has quietly become Ohio's top whiskey distillery. Part of their Double Cask Collection, this expression blends their signature dark pumpernickel rye and soft red winter wheat whiskeys, initially aged for four years in American white oak. The blended spirit is then transferred for an additional one to two years into authentic, sun-soaked Vino de Naranja casks from Spain—unique white wine barrels infused with sweet Seville orange peels. Bottled at cask strength, it delivers a rich and creamy mouthfeel where robust notes of brown sugar, dark toffee, and toasted oak meet vibrant layers of candied orange zest, buttercream, and warm baking spices.
