Their  toasted rye begins as a sweet mash rye aged in a traditional char level 3 barrel before undergoing a secondary maturation in a custom, medium-toasted oak barrel. This innovative finishing process, utilized without the use of chill filtration or added water, is designed to elevate the whiskey's aromatic complexity and mouthfeel, creating a refined balance between the natural spice of the rye and the soft, savory influence of the toasted wood.
