The Last Drop Hors d'Age Petite Champagne Cognac
세부
The Last Drop Distillers of London is an independent curator of ultra-rare spirits, founded in 2008 by industry icons Tom Jago and James Espey to unearth forgotten, world-class casks from the back of the world’s most storied warehouses. Release No. 26 is a single-estate Cognac distilled in 1950 at a family-owned distillery in the Petite Champagne region. Matured in French oak for over 70 years, this "Hors d’Age" expression has developed a refined rancio with notes of bergamot and cinnamon. Decades of the "Angels' Share" have concentrated its flavors into a harmonious, vital spirit that serves as a liquid time capsule of mid-century French distillation. Bottled at a natural strength of 90 proof (45% ABV), it represents the pinnacle of its growth area. Only a small number of bottles exist from this rare discovery, preserved by a single family until its recent bottling.
