The Last Drop Distillers of London is an independent curator of ultra-rare spirits, founded in 2008 by industry icons Tom Jago and James Espey to unearth forgotten, world-class casks from the back of the world’s most storied warehouses. Release No. 28 is the inaugural "Signature Blend" from The Last Drop Assembly, personally crafted by Buffalo Trace Master Blender Drew Mayville. Utilizing his private stash of vintage Kentucky straight bourbon and rye whiskeys, Mayville married these rare components to create a masterclass in American blending. The result is a complex profile of dark fruits and robust rye spice, reflecting the elite pedigree of Sazerac’s stocks. Though it carries no specific age statement, the maturity of the vintage barrels is evident in every sip. This limited release was bottled at a powerful 121.4 proof (60.7% ABV), with only 1,458 bottles produced globally.
